To honor the memory our former President and Match Director, we are dedicating EOT 2027 to Blackjack Zak. As he always dressed and portrayed the Calvary as his SASS persona, our 2027 theme will be “The Cavalry”.

As announced at EOT 2026, 2027 will be the last End of Trail held at Ben Avery for now. The Arizona Territorial Company of Rough Riders will return to presenting “Winter Range, The SASS National Championship of Cowboy and Wild Bunch Action Shooting” in 2028. You will not want to miss EOT 2027 as we are working towards making it historic and the most fun SASS match you have ever attended.

We want to also announce that we are making one major policy change in the match. We all know that issues arise that cause registrants to have to cancel…work, health, travel issues, etc. So, we are amending our refund policy.

The new policy will be:

• Cancellation prior to December 31^st will allow for a full refund excluding a $25 non-refundable portion
  • OR… carry-over of the full amount to Winter Range 2028
• Cancellation during the month of January will allow for a 50% refund
  • OR… carry-over of the full amount to Winter Range 2028
• Cancellation after January 31 will allow for no refund
  • OR… carry-over of the full amount to Winter Range 2028
• Monies will only be carried over for the one year to WR2028 and no refunds of those funds will be made if you are unable to attend WR2028.
